At First Church, we believe that baptism is an outward expression of the inward grace given to us by God. We emphasize Jesus’ call to let the little children come unto him, so we baptize infants and persons of all ages. For more information, contact Pastor Nikki at nikki@auburnumc.church.
Worshippers and guests may notice the baptismal fount in the area between the main sanctuary doors and The Commons, when it is not being used in worship. As you enter the building for worship, we encourage you to stop at the fount, dip your fingers in the water, touch your forehead, remembering your baptism. “Remember your baptism, and be faithful.”
At First Church, we follow the Wesleyan tradition of offering communion to people of all ages, nations, and races regardless of belief or spiritual position. We encourage all to come and receive this gift on the first Sunday of every month.
