Thinking about joining us
for worship on Sunday?
At
First Church we are welcoming and open to everyone. Our purpose is to share God’s love with all who come to meet God. Our "Sanctuary" worship service at 8:45 am is traditional with piano and organ music, robed choir and liturgies. Our casual worship service, named "Chapter 2", is held in the fellowship hall at 11:00 am and features a band leading worship. The message is the same in all of our
services and is taught in a way that is easy to connect to no matter
what your background may be. Sunday school offers classes for
preschoolers through senior adults, with some short term topic based
classes as well. If you are interested in joining a Sunday School class,
just stop by the Welcome Center and we'll get you connected!

Is there childcare?
We
have a well-equipped nursery staff that would love to take care of your
precious little one. Children birth through age 2 may hang out in our
Nursery anytime from before our classic worship service begins to the
time our modern worship service ends.
Where should I go when I arrive?
You
should be able to enter through any of the glass doors on Sunday
mornings. When you come inside you can head to the coat closet if you
have anything you would like to hang up. We have restrooms throughout
the building, but if you need help finding one, just ask! Our Welcome
Center for the 8:45 service is located just in front of the big stone pillar in The Commons, and next to the restrooms in Fellowship Hall for the 11:00 service. These locations are where you will find guest information and a friendly volunteer who will be more than happy to show you around.
Donuts & Coffee
Each
Sunday morning we offer a variety of pre-packaged donuts/baked goods and coffee in The Commons from 9:45-10:45. Feel free to leave a small donation that will be designated for a local charity or mission project.
What should I wear?
Dress
comfortably or go all out—you decide. We are a very diverse church.
You’ll feel right at home wearing anything from jeans to business casual
to your Sunday best.
How do I get connected?
Before
and after worship, stop by our Welcome Center and a volunteer will
offer you coffee and conversation. They will be more than happy to
answer any of your questions and get you connected to one of our staff
members.
