About Fine Arts Camp

The goal of Fine Arts Camp is to introduce children and young adults to a variety of musical and visual art experiences in order to make them aware of the unique talents that God has given them and to provide them with a safe place to discover new ways of expressing themselves.

Camp is always free! Class sizes are limited and fill up quickly, so don’t wait to register! Registration will begin online on March 31 and end on June 3 or when classes fill up. If a class is full, please contact us to be added to the waitlist. We prefer to keep appropriate ages together to ensure your child has the best possible experience at camp.

Preschool Camp is for ages 3 - going into Kindergarten and allows students the opportunity to experience a variety of forms of art in a dynamic, nurturing environment that inspires children to discover their unique, creative talents. You can email the School of Early Learning Director, Kaitlyn Skinner, with any questions about Preschool Camp.

All 1st-4th-grade campers will participate in choir and art along with one more class of their choosing β€” puppets or dance. We do our very best to accommodate our campers, so feel free to contact us if you have questions or concerns.

This year, our 5th & 6th-grade campers will participate in choir and art as well as one more class of their choosing β€” dance or a new creative writing class! Through this new creative writing class, students will have the opportunity to unleash their big imaginations as they explore various poetic forms and narrative techniques, crafting captivating tales and expressive verses.

*Please note that if your child is registered for summer care with the preschool, they will automatically be enrolled in this year’s campβ€”you DO NOT need to register them here.

On Friday, June 21, at 6:30pm, the students will perform in a program at First UMC for parents, families and friends to allow the campers to showcase their new talents! If your child can’t participate in this program, please indicate so on the registration form.
